Keith Kaufman and Tim Pineau (along with Dr. Carol Glass) developed the Mindful Sport Performance Enhancement (MSPE) mental training program and founded the MSPE Institute, which provides training and consultation to promote greater success, satisfaction, and well-being in sport and other realms of performance (e.g., performing arts, business). In this podcast, Keith and Tim discuss various topics related to mental training, mindfulness, peak performance, and optimal experience for a wide range of performers -- from recreational to elite, kids to adults. Ep. 75: Revisiting Grief with Dr. Tim Pineau
In this episode, we conclude Season 5 with another raw conversation revisiting grief with Dr. Tim Pineau. In the previous two conversations, Tim has shared his authentic and evolving experience with grief after the loss of his infant daughter. In this deeply personal follow-up to those conversations, Tim speaks with us about how this experience has influenced his relationship with and teaching of mindfulness, how stepping back and seeing more of the big picture has brought him a sense of peace, and how his evolving perspectives on what is important in this world has changed his work with competitors.
